Canoeing / Kayaking

Sweden is legendary for its lakes and with lakes come rivers. Many Swedish waters are wild and untamed and some flow at a more sedate and easy speed. On almost all of them people will travel by kayak, canoe or raft. So if you’re a thrill-seeker or someone who prefers to paddle and contemplate their surroundings as the world goes by, we’ve got everything you need.

Climbing
There is a wide variety of types of climbing in Sweden. Something for everybody, from the experienced and trained experts to just picking your way up a sunny granite wall in summer, or even really push yourself ice-climb in winter in freezing conditions. Our expert climbing guides know all the best places and have the knowledge to get you where you need to be safely and enjoyably.
Dog Sledding

No trip to the alpine snows could be complete without a legendary ride behind a team of dogs. Dog sledding, for the uninitiated is a unique thrill - the speed, sound, inevitably getting snow in your face. What could be better?

Fishing / Angling
This is an excellent way to experience Sweden, whether you prefer deep sea fishing or perhaps rather fly-fishing in a remote mountain stream in the far north many kilometres from any road. There is so much coastline, some many lakes and some many rivers to choose. Whatever is your preference you are likely to find it in Sweden – and what is better than the taste of a fresh fish you’ve caught yourself.
Hiking / Trekking
The ‘right to roam’ is enshrined in Swedish law due to the in law and Swedes love to hike – whether you want to scale mountains or roam the deep forests, there are hundreds of loads of well-marked routes and trails. Some are best discovered together with a guide who can tell you all there is to know of the breath-taking landscape, the wildlife and the exotic flora.  
Horse Riding

There really is nothing like admiring the wild from horse-back. Whether along a sandy beach or across a remote mountain range. Many of the horses are of a tough, sturdy Icelandic breed and well used to taking the countryside at whichever pace makes you comfortable. 

Mountain Biking
This is a fast-growing sport and activity in Sweden. There is an ever-increasing number of bike parks and lots of well-marked trails. A number of companies nowadays offer guided tours as well. Whether you want to potter about for half a day or get more intrepid with glorious nights spent in cabins, it is an amazing and inexpensive way to discover your surroundings.
River Rafting

Safari
Sweden is one of the very few places left in Europe where you can see animals such as bears, wolves, lynx, wolverine, beaver and moose in the wild. They all are very elusive creatures and so a local guide is strongly recommended. The guides know the lifestyles of the animals and are expert in finding them. Imagine texting your picture of a wild lynx to your friends back home.
